As urban Indians in an increasingly global environment, our musical sensibilities have expanded as geographic, linguistic and cultural boundaries become less rigid. We no longer have to conform to a particular national or artistic stereotype, and need a music culture that expresses this.
We've looked around for direction, for support, for understanding, but found little. What we have found, though, is a growing number of like-minded people looking for the same things. So we've taken matters into our own hands, and created South Fire Networks ..
South Fire Production [Green Neon Smoke Productions] aims at offering clients complete audio solutions, supports up-and-coming composers and musicians and has a growing digital library of original music for professional or personal use. Our Sound areas will boast state-of- the-art audio technology in a friendly environment; South Fire Records encourages artists to develop their own sound and promotes them internationally. The Club will have features like cutting-edge live music from around the country and the world, a top-notch bar and a gastronomic experience like no other in Bangalore , and certain other cities [ currently under wraps ] .
Today's teens are quickly becomung tomrrow's leaders . Some of them are barely into their high school years ; some of them are heading off to college to further educate themselves in the intricacies of entrepreneurship . All of them are truly amazing in their own right , in fact we all are .

,open its first South Fire Unite funzone in bangalore.
It aims at opening one funzone in 15 states in India by 2010 .
The Funzone will have things like Paint ball .

South Fire Unite is also a part and a major patron of
ART [Artist Repertory Theatre] Bangalore .
ART Youth provides formal drama training for the city's young people. It gives them access to workshops run by resident and visiting professionals and serves as a platform to participate in major productions. Graduates of the Basic Skills workshop, who have then participated in their school or college productions have stood out, showing that training does make the difference.
ART Youth is, as far as we know, the only established youth group in India involved in all aspects of drama. It is a vibrant and innovative group that devises, designs, directs and presents its own work to a growing young audience.
ART Youth was launched in 1994 by Gautam Raja .
SOUTH Fire Unite is NOT an ngo and it is NOT a non-profit organisation.

The South Fire Unite Music Project
The South Fire Music Project is all about promoting youth bands
and giving them a platform to perform on .
The project was kick-started off on Dec 12th ..
informally by 2 teenagers from Bangalore City ..
Kaushal and Dpak ,
of the band Sacrament...
2008 on wards will see lot more bands coming up...
SO Hold on !!
There's tons of talent power yet to be Unleashed !!
But tilll then here's a video of sacrament at an informal jammin session

Where we will teach kids how to paint ,sculpture ,
Theatre ,photography ,dance, music , filmmaking ,along with reading , writing ,and basic math .
We perceive art as a means for youth to generate interests and provide an alternate education different from regular mainstream educational systems .
When the student is ready to turn artistic expressions into a profession she/he will be taken to a higher level of study .
Our aim is to Unite the youth and close the indifferences gap

We are one country diverse in so many ways yet we are all proud to call ourselves "Indians" .
Incredible ain't it ?
India is a fast moving developing country, .
There is hope in this rich and diverse country, with changes taking place economically and socially at a very rapid pace. Rather than waiting for the effects to trickle down, more work has to be done at the grassroots to ensure a positive growth of this incredible nation. I do see the beginnings of an awakening, a dawning of the senses, which would hopefully lead to a brighter future of India.
I’m as excited as ever to see how my life unfolds, for change is inevitable and I have to accept the changes that I see in Bangalore , and embrace the good that still exists here in a place that’s still home.
In India,
children’s vulnerabilities and exposure to violations of their rights remain spread and multiple in nature.
These violations are various, ranging from child labour, child trafficking, to commercial exploitation and many other forms of violence and abuse.
DID YOU KNOW .
for instance,
India has the largest number of child labourers under the age of 14 in the world. Although poverty is often cited as the cause underlying child labour, other factors such as discrimination, social exclusion, as well as the lack of quality education or existing parents’ attitudes and perceptions about child labour and the role and value of education need also to be considered.
Trafficking of children also continues to be a serious problem in India. The nature and scope of trafficking range from industrial and domestic labour, to forced early marriages.
Moreover, due to the challenges and complexity posed in creating systematic redressing mechanisms, as well as due to the discrimination surrounding the issue, for children who have been trafficked and rescued opportunities for rehabilitation remain scarce and reintegration process almost impossible.
While systematic data and information on child protection issues are still not always available, evidence suggests that children in need of special protection belong to communities suffering disadvantage and social exclusion such as scheduled casts and tribes, and
the poor.
The lack of available services, as well as the gaps persisting in law enforcement and in rehabilitation schemes also constitute a major cause of concern.
